The newest parents . . . . . .

Here are the newest (and possibly the tiredest) parents in our family!! They sure love their little Lexi

and she is so beautiful, tiny, soft and tender. She does have one little issue however . . . . . she squeaks . She hardly ever cries . . . . . and Becca can distinguish which squeak is the hungry squeak, from all the rest.

They are doing great !!! I told Becca she doesn't act like she just had a baby. She said well I don't know how I am supposed to act. She is amazing!

Brad had a fellow med student come to the house to see the baby (her gift was a small bag of apples) very thoughtful! She was so interested in doing checks on Alexis to observe all her baby reflexes. Of course, Brad had already done them and they were so immersed in there medical mumbo jumbo (j/k lol ), it was really fascinating!

Brad applied and was selected for an Anthesiology Internship this summer which sounds like it will fill up his 10 week summer break. We are very happy for them but still hope they will be able to come out during the summer (maybe Dustin's mission Sacrament meeting?!?).

They have good and amazing friends and have a strong support group out there! Their new apartment has 3 levels with lots of storage space in the basement and close to the school. We are so proud of them !!!

She has a lot of dark hair !!!

Making her arrival on April 9th, 2008

Alexis Lynn Reid
decided she wanted to come in April instead of May and we couldn't be happier !
She debuted at 6 lbs. and 3 oz. and 19 inches long. Biceps (flexed) are a whopping 2 1/2".
She is complimented by the brown, white and pink afghan, expertly made by her good and sweet mother and her tremendous character shared with her by her father .
Welcome, welcome little Alexis ~ we already love you so much !!
